چکیده
Background: One of the minor obstitrical procedures is dilation and curettage; pain usually occurs during it. Consequently, an anesthetic drug desires sufficient analgesia, brisk onset, recovery.
Objective: To evaluate two groups combinations {midazolam 0.08mg/kg – ketamine (0.5mg/kg)} propofol with (1mg/kg) –fentanyl dose (1mcg /kg)}, in hemodynamic parameters, scoring recovery characteristics thus finding optimal combination which can be applied all along operation.
Patients Methods: It was taken100 patients weregoing through dilatation & curettage approximately 15-30 min. Duration enrolled after ethical committee approval Erbil 2022, it divided into 50 each. Baseline anesthesia maintained, were haphazardly selected to get 1mg/kg 1 mcg/kg fentanyl (First group), midazolam 0.5 mg/kg (Second group) as a bolus induce for maintenance. Then. scores, Aldrete signs assessed procedure. Finally, results arranged inspected statistically Student's unpaired t-test chi-square test.
Results: BP (systolic, diastolic) PR significantly higher Group 2 compared 1. No significant difference found regarding parameters: sedative level at 3-5 minutes (p = 0.499) duration operation 0.105).
Conclusion: group (propofol -fentanyl) superior (midazolam–ketamine) may good option uterine dilation, –fentanyl) provides analgesia surgical intervention accurate like awakening time response verbal commands.

OBJECTIVE Midazolam, propofol and fentanyl were compared in terms of sedation during cataract extraction. Hemodynamic parameters, sedation level, postoperative satisfaction, and side effects were investigated. METHODS The study was carried out in Hacettepe University Hospitals Ophthalmology Operating Theatres in 2005. The patients received only midazolam (0.02 mg kg-1), or midazolam (0.02 mg ...
